In the backdrop of the Rodin Museum and Tour d'Eiffel, Lily Wang offers one of the 7th's most glamorous eateries with a menu that doesn't sacrifice substance for style. Owned by the Costes Brothers and personally penned by Jacques Garcia, Lily Wang is the brothers' first Chinese eatery that looks to recreate 20s Shanghai in a moody dining room of red paper lanterns, leather banquettes and black lacquer details.
The Food
Asian cuisine is all the rage for 2011 in Paris dining and nowhere is that felt more than at Lily Wang. Dim Sum comes in an assortment of Shanghai jian-jiao or pork tenderloin marinated in fish sauce. Main course includes elaborate stir-fries with ingredients like locally-sourced chicken and artisanal artichokes or heartier dishes like slow-roasted duck and whole fish cooked to perfection.
